Mixtape Friday Part 1

It's been awhile since we gave you a fresh start of the weekend with some epic mixtapes. We are pretty busy with a new site so stay tuned. So, to celebrate the fact that we're sort of back in business, 2 parts of todays Mixtape Friday.

We'll start with Beat The Bastardz, this dutch fellows recorded one of their gigs and they set a pretty good show. The crowd in Harderwijk will have gone wild for this.

The next one is also a live recorded set. This time it is from Mashed Paper Klub. They made Fight Klub out of their mind with this awesome mixtape.

Last but not least we have the latest mixtape from Dskotek called Ride of the Valkyrie. With some epic tunes in it they made it freakin awesome. With tunes from Belzebass, The Mastertrons, Pelussje and Skrillex it gives you a pretty dark ride through music.

Mashed Paper Klub

More EP news, now from Belgium, it's the Mashed Paper Klub. We already blogged about these guys a while ago. They make sick music, and even better parties, called Fight Klub. Now they are about to release a new EP called Deus Ex Machina, an unsuspected twist of a story. Well, the drops in the tracks are unsuspected, starting with a French version of Ezekiel 25:17, the track moves over into one chaotic track, punk madness!

There are two remixes of Deus Ex Machina, one made by S.P.A. and one by Wazabi. The S.P.A. remix is a bit weird, on the other hand the Wazabi remix is sick! Not as punklike as the original, but still good.

Last track on the EP is one made by the Mashed Paper Klub and is called Solid Insecure Flower. It reminds me of the good old Prodigy tracks, all though the lyrics of the Prodigy are better, it's still a great and a fast track!

I read an article on Dirtieclouds about the Belgian Mashed Paper Klub, and I found out that these guys love the hard, trash electro. They have played with the big names like Steve Aoki, Congorock, Ikki and even Huoratron. Actually, they played with them on their own party called Fight Klub, see the clip above, which is all about creating the roughest moshpits. When you are in Brussels tomorrow, make sure you check it out, it's with Baskerville. Look on their myspace for more Fight Klub dates. Further, they will be releasing a brand new EP next month, cant wait!. Well back to the music, I've got, thanks to Dirtieclouds, four tracks of the Mashed Paper Klub, and found some more on my own.
