Pukkelpop Special: The Bloody Beetroots

Oi!

YEAH! Our prediction in the "Year of Dim Mak & BBR" post the 14th of march came true! The Bloody Beetroots are on Pukkelpop this year, for the third time in a row.

However, since we've just gotten used to the DC77 format (as far as you can 'get used to' the BBR, they blow us away every single time!), it's an old school DJ set for them this time. So Eddy can relax for a bit and let Bobby and Tommy do the work, but that is not going to make it less of an anarchy on the dance floor, as many of you will have experienced.

For the people who do not know what we are talking about, here's a few tracks to get you exited about this dark duo:

The Bloody Beetroots - Theolonius (King Voodoo)

The Bloody Beetroots - Anacletus

And a little taste of their classical side:

As a bonus we have a 'new', old song from the Beetroots, it might sound familiar if you've heard their mix on the BBC1 Annie Nightingale radio show December 2009.

See you in the moshpit.

Yours truly,

The BSN team
