Disco Trash Music

Oi!

Found some new music in my mailbox, it's Disco Trash Music. These guys are from Germany and this is what they say about themselves "Disco Trash Music like to mash it up bastard style, dropping bombs left and right in a fast-paced show, with cheeky cuts from pop, funk and rock hits over a solid foundation of heavy-bass ghetto rave and fidget house".
Well, I couldn't agree more, with big remixes of Nirvana, the White Stripes, Boys Noize and Digitalism it's just the kind of electro I love. Check their soundcloud for more.

The White Stripes vs. Disco Trash Music - Seven Rave Nation Army

Oi!

I'm following Haezer,  from South Africa, for while now, because damn this guy has got some sick beats and tracks. His sound is hard, with punk influences, a bit like SebastiAn, but harder. 2009 was a great year for Haezer, but 2010 will be better with an EP release in March! I've got a whole shit load of tracks and remixes, two new ones and three tracks who are a bit older. The first  new track I've got SebastiAns Motor re-edit, damn it's too short, but heavy! The other track is called Dominator, it's produced by Haezer himself, another big track. You might know the older tracks, but I'll share them with you anyway, because they are awesome.

SebastiAn - Motor (Haezers Bootleg Re-Edit)

These guys are one of the best things to start with in 2010! Though we are still waiting for the Bobermann remix of Mitsubitchi, we just had to give you this remix. It's from Corpus de Textes another French product, will it ever stop? All the good that comes from over there! Corpus De Textes just released their new E.P. Genèse. And to know him even better I've got a Mr. Oizo remix, that's also one thing every French producer does.

And if you're not sure if you should, just listen to these two songs and you know you should!

Mustard Pimp: 24 hour Jack Bauer mixtape

Mustard Pimp is back with a 24 hour during mixtape! I've selected only the first two mixes, they contain all the genres with a lot of non-released Mustard Pimp remixes, Dirty Disco Youth tracks, and many, many more. Party: 5daysoff update

Oi!

Like Alacritous N said, the 6th of March is going to be a sick night, but today I found out it's going to be even better! It has been confirmed that  our Dutch heroes the Mightyfools and Belgian Gtronic are supporting the Bloody Beetroots and Boemklatsch. For the Mightyfools 2009 was a big year, with EP releases en two big tours, could 2010 be better? 2010 will be a better year for Gtronic i recon, although 2009 wasn't that bad with a heavy Warp remix.

So even more reasons to buy your tickets here.

As a little bonus, see the Bloody Beetroots performance at Stereosonic 2009, it will give you a a good impression of what you can expect the 6th of March

As a second bonus, here's Trumpdisco's remix of Right here Right Now by Fatboy Slim.

Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now (Trumpdisco remix)

It's A Big S Beginning Of 2010

Oi!

With all the forthcoming releases of 2010 it looks like it will be a good year for us all, except for the ears because they will have to suffer a lot. I mean the new E.P. of Congorock coming up, an album of Uffie that will be released this year. Crookers will release an album too. I thought it would be nice to make a mixtape with some artists we think will do a good job in 2010. All songs will be released on the blog the coming week. If they aren't already!

Oi !

I've got some Essential Mixes for all kinds of electronic music lovers. First I've got the first Essential Mix of this decade, it's a mix made by Simian Mobile Disco, known for We Are Your Friends, Hustler and many more tracks.  This mix is made for the perfect Sunday evening, relaxing on your couch and thinking of the night before.

Click here for Simian Mobile Disco's EM

The other two Essential Mixes I've got for you are more of a Saturday night genre. First Sharam, from Deep Dish, who made the best EM of 2009 according to the listeners of BBC Radio 1. It's more of a Ibiza like mix, with a lot of minimal beats and bass, but it also contains some tracks of Steve Aoki and Cassius. For the minimal house lovers.

Click on here for the whole tracklist

The other Essential Mix is made by Sub Focus, the biggest drum & bass dj of 2009. This second best EM of last year is fast paste, with a lot of Sub Focus own productions, a lot of other drum & bass tracks, but even some house and dubstep. Like I said, good Saturday night material!

Punk-Rolla

We all heard his earlier remix of Getting Better from The Beatles but now i got a new remix by Punk-Rolla. This time he used a sample of War by Edwin Starr, i think it is his trademark to use samples from the sixties. Although these songs are old, i like them and that's what matters. Enjoy this new remix!

Punk-Rolla - War

Now i also got his new mixtape, it has a humongous load of his own songs but there are some really nice tracks between them!

Review: NYE Knalwerk

BigSNoise was @ Knalwerk on NYE. Knalwerk, in Dutch, literally means 'bangworks', and yes, the works were truly banging! The entire night was filled with good danceable music. But for us, loving the raw sounds of electro, there were a few highlights.

The MAX Area

With his 13 minute intro SebastiAn raised the expectations to a level only a certain few can meet. He played tracks from everything that's French & good, like Le Petits Pilous, Mr Oizo, Daft Punk, Justice. But also from zie Germans, like Boys Noize, from English blokes like The Prodigy, and the beautiful remix of Gossip's Heavy Cross (from the USA). So what he's predesessor LeLe was singing about 'International Pants' and 'Disco Monster', SebastiAn personified. And score: He certainly met our expectations and brought us a smashing start of 2010.

SebastiAns 13 min long intro

SebastiAn - Threnody (Original mix)

VAgE gASTEN Area

After enjoying a bit of DJ Feadz' clash of Hip-Hop and Electro we went to the VAgE gASTEN Area. Here, also DJ's were letting Hip-Hop, Electro and Dubstep collide smashingly. But then... in the last half an hour the Vage Gasten Dj's really played to our tune. Warp 1977 came by, one of my personal favorites Justice's Phantom II (Boys Noize Remix) and even our home-promoted Huoratron with his chaos song Corporate Occult, that really made us gasp for breath!

Their latest remix isn't that hard as their previous remix of Chester French, but nice and relaxing. Use the others for a great Saturday night.

Chester French - C'mon (Pance Party remix)

Chester French - She Loves Everybody (Pance Party remix)

The Presents - Kicking and Screaming (Pance Party's Never Grow Up remix)

Felix Cartel - Skeleton (Pance Party remix) Big one!
