Oi!

December is going to be a banging month, with a lot of new remixes, EP's and big parties to come! I've four examples in store for you, but there will be many more of course!


Mustard Pimp

First, Mustard Pimp was about to the release their new single, Pigeon Flu on the 1st of December. It's a collaboration with Blatta&Inesha, but I couldn't wait till tomorrow, so I've got it for you guys! Further their will be some sick mixtapes by the French duo, I'll inform you more later this month.

Plus, the Bloody Beetroots are going to release some new and massive stuff! On December 8th Christmas Vendetta will be released. It contains the track Warp 1977 ft Steve Aoki, a new remix of All Leathers Mystery Meat, a Talkin' in my sleep remix, which I've got for you, and plus the new videoclip of the track Romborama! I can't wait until that day!

Hello people.

Review: The Prodigy

The prodigy Invaders Must Die Tour dropped by the Heineken Music Hall Monday the 23.

Their support act Enter Shikari combined their grunting metal rock together with a little dubstep and even some old Dutch Hardcore music. Even so the crowd was just trickling in as the band was jumping up and down the stage like a couple of rockstar-pikeys. After an intermission with some background music to get us in the mood (The Bloody Beetroots et al.), flashy lights started to blind the first row of groupies . . . and thy jumping began...

And if these British muscle-shirt wearing maniacs drop by you don't go sit on the chairs at the back of the HMH. Thats also what MC Maxim Reality thought and said: " YOU PEOPLE IN THE BACK" ..... {people in the back go wild} ..... "FUCK YOU!". At least thats what I thought he said, and sure he is. If you go to the prodigy you want to jump around till even your sweat drops sweat. And so we did!

The Prodigy perfectly put together tracks from Invaders Must Die with classics like smack my bitch up, voodoo people and fire starter. They played the crowd very well; they created moshpits just by telling people to & created one of the biggest 'sit-downs' I ever took part in [see video]. At the end some of the sound equipment failed epically and brought a sudden stop to the performance. Nonetheless it was a seamless flow of Electropunk! (another point checked off of my 'things to do in life'-list) Thank you The Prodigy!

Oh I Love The Weekends

What's better than a weekend full of tequila, nice women and some good music. So i got the first two in this picture and the music is underneath! And what about that music!
First i got a remix of Dada Life's Let's Get Bleeped Tonight by the always amazing Mustard Pimp, these french dudes know how to rock hard. Second i got a more softy remix bij Autoerotique of a Fischerspooner song called Supply and Demand. I think that one is for the afterparty. And last but not least i got a remix of Buraka Som Sistema. Hi there! Tuesday I blogged about Steed Lord, I didn't know a lot of them so I've been looking on the internet for some more massieve tracks. I found out that they just released their remix album The Truth Serum Remix Project. It contains a lot of marvellous tracks, so check it out on Beatport.

A little review from the previous Electric Trash on October 31st. We went there and reviewed it for you lot! Black Noize (UK), Soldout (BE), DJ Spliph & liquid Lab brought it nasty! It was nice and raw, mayb a little to raw and unfamiliar for most people because it wasn’t very crowded. Most music was fit to bounce and ‘fidge’ on, but not always danceable for everyone. Although they played in the ‘little room’ of the Haarlem club Patronaat, they made the ground (and beer) shake!

I hope to have informed you well. I’m gonna put the kettle on .

OI! On my everlasting quest to find more sick tunes, I found these two remixes of Steed Lord from Iceland. This group/band/whatever you name it, is mostly known for the songs "Take my hand" and "Dirty Muthaaa". I especially like raw beats and the vocals made by Kali.
Well, the first remix is made by Mustard Pimp, and as always it's sick! The second remix I've got in store for you is one made by Jack Beats, this guy is seriously rockin' at the moment.
