Distrakt will release his latest EP Rompa Stompa tomorrow. It will be released under the Dutch record label Basserk Records. The original is quite funky track, with a big basses. Ofcourse it includes some proper remixes by names like Electrophants, Owl Vision, Shaved Monkeys. Check Owl Visions remix out below, and pick the EP up tomorrow at beatport!
The belgian scene is upcoming right now, common names like The Subs, Soulwax, Dr. Lektroluv and Sound Of Stereo get some serious competition from new acts. GSUS!, Shaved Monkeys, Wasted Basterds and Soda 'N' Suds are some of them. And the last of them released an epic remixes EP called Heavy. As the word says it is rough and bouncing. Remixes were made by The Oddword (BE), DJ Manaia (PT), Chrispy (UK) and Shaved Monkeys (BE).
Filthy beats combined with a good wobble or a nice drop is the key to the success of this EP. The remix of Chrispy is simply brilliant. All the others are certainly not less. Enjoy and support the artist at beatport
Like I said last Friday in the mixtape special, you will hear more about Corrupted DatA. Well prepare yourself for some chaotic music, because Corrupted DatA knows how to make it. These two young guys from L.A. keep on getting bigger, thanks to their fast paste electro with chaotic beeps and raw edits. Ive got five track in store, some are old, some are new, but all are huge!
First two orignal tracks, "What?!?" containing the two-step sample and some 8bit sounds. plus the track called" Etch N SkETCH"
As a bonus I've got six live dj sets of a party called Ears Off! which last Thursday in Antwerp, with on the decks names like Oddworld, Shaved Monkeys and VNNR Next party isn't scheduled yet, but you will hear about on this blog asap.

After releasing a LOT of EP's over the past few months, Sick Boy is back with a big mixtape. The recently released EP "Bang Your Head" contains some sick remix of, to name a few, Blatta&Inesha, Dirty Disco Youth and Disco Villians, and I have the original track for you all.
Now, with a new EP called Lock Up coming out, Sick Boy shared a mixtape with us. The EP will released somewhere this month, and contains collabs with Acid Jacks, Bryan Cox and Jaimie Fanatic, so stay tuned.

Now it's Shaved Monkeys turn. These three guys from Belgium are bringing it hard. As an introduction, let me quote them about who they are. "Three monsters among humans - half human, half animal - came into the scene in 2009. These monsters (or whatever they should be called) have been locked up in a cage with nothing more then the latest electronic music tracks and some equipment. Addicted to electronic music they are expected to be dropping bombs left and right at the dancefloor." Well, I agree about the bomb dropping part, they prove it this mixtape.
