After their Big S Noise exclusive mixtape, the Wasted Basterds, yes with an "e", continued with making shit what they do best, sick electro. The Belgian Basterds are doing quite good actually with an upcoming EP for Rot10 Musik, a label which hold names like ETC!ETC! and Mr. Vega. We've got the two tracks which will be on this EP, Vegas Baby and Punchline, and damn these tracks are good. The wobble of Vegas Baby is awesome and the drop in Punchline comes with a.. punch. Just insane.
Further I've got some 3 remixes of the Wasted Basterds which are a must haves, especially the NEUS and F2U remixes! The NEUS one isn't a download, coz it's for the remix contest.
The Mustard Pimps are back with a brand new mixtape called Catastrophec Vol1. As the name speaks for it self I won't talk a lot about. It's just the first of a series of mixtapes, so more of these artworks to come! It's funky, fresh and sometimes quite hard. Enjoy
Pukkelpop 2010, the 25th anniversary, although the event itself is older than most of girls there, I mean visitors... a lot of respect was paid to the old legends. Legends like Iron Maiden, Queens of the Stone age, Limp Bizkit, The Prodigy. They still Rocked and Rolled, or take you to the hospital for the latter one. The prodigy was, as always, mayhem, but on field, at night, on an event with more than 60.000 people, moshpits the size of football fields were created. Steve Aoki, definatly can be called a legend as well as a rocker, made the Boiler Room boil until you could drink straight from the air itself.
Artists like Uffie and Die Antwoord have there own category of music and both gave away great show. Die Antwoord was as shocking as they are on TV. By that I mean, the Pink Floyd-boxer-move was performed as never before.
After bouncing Jakwob, Caspa and Pendulum for so long we almost forgot how to dance on electro & techno again.
Of course we where in front of all the tens of thousands of people that came to see our hero's, The Bloody Beetroots. As they wrote on their blog.
Boys Noize was the gatekeeper of the whole Boyz Noize day at the Boiler Room (which was crazy), he played a terrific set, stretching his tracks in to one big electric flow.
And in between all this dancing, rocking, wobbling, bouncing and jumping, we found some time to listen to a personal favorite of ours, from a different side of the music spectrum. Mumford and Sons, was as beautiful as it was emotional. The Sons where so surprised by the sheer amount of fans that welcomed them on stage they filled there eyes with joy and our ears with the authentic folk music they produce.
All and all, Pukkelpop the 25th anniversary made us dance like idiots and smell like pigs. . . Awesome!

It has been quiet around the FCKN CREW for a long time now, latest sick track was the remix for Owl Vision, but they are back now, and damn the are hard. They boys from France just released their latest EP called Discoke under the SeekSickSound recordlabel, and it's massive. Well ofcourse it is, coz with remixes of the Toxic Avenger, F.O.O.L., The Boomzers and Bullwack.All are hard and loud, as we like.
First up it's Doc Trashz, you all know this guy for his sick remixes, but he shows he's good at making mixtapes as well. Sick tracklist, full with the latest bangers.
Finally, another older mixtape, it's from Borro, who's from Belgium, and it's 90 min of a chaotic ride. Well, mixed, great selection of tracks, just a musthave!
Can't believe I missed this, it's Chemicals latest EP called Ghost. Although ShakeYourAssRecords send it almost a month ago, I think it's still worth sharing it with you all. The EP contains the original tracks of Chemical, Ghost, Poulpe Écrasè and Dust and two remixes of Ghost, one of Blastaguyz and one from the Mastertrons. Although all are great tracks I especially like the Mastertrons remix, coz the drop is insane. Yeah, the latest mixtape from OMGITM is out, and it's made by Dirty Disco Youth, yes, again. The German wonder kid has made another proper mixtape, although its not the hardest one ever I still like it and it's quite a musthave. Enjoy the 36th mixtape!

Let me present Club Sandwich, this 21 year old guy from Nantes, France just began to make some heavy electro, but already made three banging tracks. Influenced by electro names like Fukkk Offf, Mr. Oizo SebastiAn, and dubstep names like Doctor P, but has creating his own style of music. He recently made a remix for Neus' remix contest of Blast! and I think it's one the best remix i've heard so far. The track is loud, heavy almost metal like, and the drop is insane. The other two tracks im offering you are not as hard, although the first one, Jambon Beurre, is a banger as well, bit obnoxious maybe with the pornsounds, but I like it. Jaffle Skol is a bit softer, more into the style of Etienne de Crecy. We will definitely hear from this lad in the future.
How on earth is it possible that Modek is still quite unkown in the world wide electro blogosphere. This guy from Belgium is killing it, with remixes for Nadisko, The OddWorld , and recently The Clash Disko Kids and M.I.A.'s new track XXXO. His style is sort of electrohouse, but his drops are sick and his wobbles are even better. I'll give you his own track called Pink, it will ruin your speakers. Also, make sure to check the other three soundclouds as well, although they are not dl's due to upcoming releases.
Bit late, but it's time for another mixtape friday!
First mixtape is from Disco Trash Music, these Germans called it the Total Destruction Mix, well, it's quite hard. With tracks from Haezer, Mustard Pimp, Disco Trash Music and even Huoratron you know it's a must have.
Next up is a new mix from our Portuguese friends F2U, they made a small mixtape containing the biggest tracks, with upcoming DJ Antention, Belzebass, and Mastertrons. Just a 30 minutes long chaotic ride. Well done!
Almost one week until Pukkelpop in Hasselt, so lets talk about one of our favorites, Steve Aoki.
Aoki, called Kid Millionaire a couple of years ago, founded the label Dim Mak Records in 1996. Dim Mak started as a hardcore metal and the records first album was created by the hardcore band Stickfigurecarousel. After a year it grew more into a rock like label, with signed names like Bloc Party. After 2005 Dim Mak signed all kinds of different artists with big electro names like MSTRKRFT, the Bloody Beetroots and indie rock bands like the Scanners.
As a DJ, Aoki started to produce some music on his own as well, first with in a collab with Blake Miller under the name Weird Science, then in late 2007 he started producing on his own. Which lead to his first album called Pillowface and his Airplane Chronicles. The album is about himself, living without sleep for weeks on airports. The album featured names like Justice, MSTRKRFT, Peaches and Bloc Party, and contains some massive tracks like Refuseds New Noise, which is also remixed by the Bloody Beetroots this year, or MSTRKRFTs remix of D.A.N.C.E., or a remix of Gooses Bring it On.

After his album, Aoki continued with making remixes, but also started organize parties in LA, in the famous Cinespace, expanded his Dim Mak label with a clothing line and was getting even a bigger recognized DJ in the world with preformances from Holland to Singapore and USA to Australia.

In late 2008 and 2009 Aoki started making loads of remixes with the best known remix of N.A.S.A's Gifted, but he also made remixes for Good Charlotte, Chris Cornell and The Killers (ft. The Bloody Beetroots)

Then in March 2009 his first big track was released, it was the massive collab with the Bloody Beetroots, Warp. Soon after Warp more remixes followed, one of Drake, the banger remix of Pursuit of Happiness, and collabs with Afrojack, Zupa Blahq and Armin van Helden.
As a side project, Aoki collabed with Sir Bob Rifo under the name Rifoki, which stands for hardcore metal electro, some raw shit.

Steve Aoki loves loads of different kinds of music, which you can see in his DJ sets, from poppy electro to almost metal like music. This and the fact he will end the evening with Noisia, see our next Pukkelpop special, on Thurday makes it a must see on Pukkelpop 2010!
Time for some good old dubstep with Fresh Foolish. These guys from ShakeYourAssRecords cant just make hard trash electro, they also know how to make some proper dubstep. They released a free EP today called Infected, it contains three killer tracks, with some sick drops and wobbles. Good stuff!
Yeah more stuff from the Belgian Trashing Teenagers, these are creating some sick sounds. After their own tracks, which we posted a while they started to make some remixes of names like NEUS, Blaster, F.O.O.L. and follow Belgian GSUS, no downloads coz tall the tracks will be released soon. Stay tuned btw for more new music from Blaster and the new EP of GSUS!

Let me present to you Tezuma and Kint, two guys from Catania, Italy. They just released their first EP on Kill Beat Records called Ruin My Existence, or R.M.E. Original track is massive and is supported by names like Mustard Pimp and Cyberpunkers. With further remixes of Doc Trashz, Sickboy and Marrabas you know this is some heavy electro. The EP will be released exclusive beatport on the 11th of Augus, but we have the original track already for free.
It has been a while since my last post due to our major Eastern Europe tour. But I'm back, to share some big tunes which I found in my quick search through soundcloud and dropbox. So just soundclouds for now, next few days I will share the best of my mailbox with you, stay tuned.
It's time for another Oh My God It's Techno Music Supermix, due to our vacation we missed two of them but here's the newest from Aerotronic. This one brings the good vibe in it, he mixed the right tracks into a mixtape and also used a couple of his own mixes. He did a good job and now we can enjoy it!
It's a bit late for a mixtape friday, so this one is a one time mixtape saturday, we give you real good mixtapes so you can bounce through your weekend. First one is from FutureFlashs and is called the Peak Time Hype Mix. It is just 90 minutes of madness with some real sounds in it.
Second is a mixtape of Dirty Noise, it's his way to say goodbye to july. for us it's just a way to party through summer. This mixtape is top of the class.
It has been a long time since our last post and summer is already halfway. so for everyone to get back in the mood we give you some tunes we think are just enough to get back in the mood, so the rest of the summer will be full of music.
